Terms of Service

AlbumAlive turns printed photos into "living photos": a guest points a phone camera at a QR code and the photo plays its video in the browser, with no app. These terms are an agreement between you (a studio, photographer, or business account holder) and the operator of AlbumAlive ("we"). By creating an account you agree to them.

1. The service

You upload a photo and a video (or a video alone); we process them and publish a scannable experience at a permanent link and QR code.
One credit publishes one living photo. Credits never expire. Replacing a video, building album QRs, guest-book moderation, archiving and unarchiving are free.
Published content is served from static storage that is independent of our application servers, so published photos keep playing even during maintenance or outages.
We may improve or change features over time; we will not remove a published experience except as described below.

2. Your content and your responsibility

You keep full ownership of everything you upload. You grant us only the permissions needed to process, store, and serve it as the product requires.
You confirm that you have the right to use the photos and videos you upload, including the consent of the people who appear in them, and of a parent or guardian for minors.
You must not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have permission to use. Wedding videos containing commercial music are your responsibility as the uploader.
Guest recordings (voice blessings and video wishes) become publicly playable only after you explicitly approve them, and you can remove any approved recording at any time.

3. Takedowns

We act on valid legal complaints (copyright, consent, or court orders) by disabling the affected experience, with a target of 24 hours from a verified complaint. Where reasonable we will contact you first and prefer that you archive the content yourself.

4. Payments and credits

Credit packs are priced on the billing page, inclusive of GST where applicable. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we never see your card details.
Refunds are governed by the refund policy.
Promotional or free credits carry no cash value.

5. Service expectations

We run this service with care but do not yet offer a contractual uptime guarantee. The architecture keeps published photos playable independently of our servers.
Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, attempt to breach security, or repeatedly upload infringing content.

6. Ending the relationship

You can stop using AlbumAlive at any time. On a verified account-deletion request we disable your experiences, purge your stored media, and anonymise your records; the financial ledger is retained as required for accounting. Published QR codes stop resolving after deletion.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction in the courts of Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
